ACCESS LADDER INSTALLATION
Location: Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Fabrication and installation of a comprehensive access ladder system to facilitate safe maintenance entry.
Description:
This project involved the design and installation of a heavy-duty industrial access ladder. The structure was engineered to provide secure vertical access to elevated platforms, featuring robust anchoring and weather-resistant finishing suitable for the industrial environment of the Free Trade Zone.

WALKWAY INSTALLATION
Location: One-story building, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Construction of a designated walkway system to protect roofing sheets and ensure personnel safety.
Description:
This project entailed the installation of a specialized walkway system across the building’s roof. Designed to distribute weight and prevent damage to the roofing material, the walkway provides a non-slip, clearly defined path for inspection and maintenance teams, significantly reducing the risk of workplace accidents and roof leaks.

22 ft. MONKEY LADDER INSTALLATION
Location: One-story building, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Installation of a 22-foot vertical fixed ladder (monkey ladder) for roof access.
Description:
WDL Engineering executed the installation of a 22-foot vertical steel ladder designed for a single-story facility. The installation prioritized structural stability and ease of use for maintenance personnel, ensuring safe and direct access to rooftop utilities.

30 ft. MONKEY LADDER ALONG WITH A DC CABLE LADDER SYSTEM
Location: Three-story building, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Dual-purpose installation of a high-elevation access ladder and electrical cable management system.
Description:
A complex installation requiring precision at height, this project involved erecting a 30-foot monkey ladder equipped with safety cages for a three-story structure. Simultaneously, a DC Cable Ladder system was integrated alongside the access route to support and organize heavy-duty electrical cabling, ensuring streamlined infrastructure management.

30m LIFE LINE CABLE INSTALLATION
Location: One-story building, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Deployment of a horizontal lifeline system for fall protection.
Description:
Focusing on occupational safety, this project involved the tensioning and installation of a 30-meter lifeline cable. The system serves as a critical fall-arrest anchor point for workers performing maintenance on the single-story roof, ensuring full compliance with industrial safety regulations.

45m LIFE LINE AND BRACKETS INSTALLATION
Location: Three-story building, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
High-altitude fall protection system with custom bracket fabrication.
Description:
Given the risks associated with three-story elevations, this project required the installation of a 45-meter lifeline system secured by heavy-duty, custom-fabricated brackets. The system provides continuous fall protection coverage across the building’s perimeter, allowing safe movement for personnel working at significant heights.

40m LIFE LINE AND BRACKETS INSTALLATION
Location: Fabric Warehouse, Biyagama Free Trade Zone

Scope:
Specialized lifeline installation tailored for a logistics/storage environment.
Description:
WDL Engineering installed a 40-meter lifeline system on a fabric warehouse facility. The project included the installation of specialized mounting brackets designed to maintain roof integrity while supporting the tension load of the lifeline, ensuring the safety of maintenance crews without disrupting warehouse operations.

PROTECTIVE STEEL BARRIERS INSTALLATION
Location: Various Locations

Scope:
Fabrication and installation of impact-resistant barriers for high-voltage infrastructure.
Description:
To mitigate the risk of vehicular impact and unauthorized access, this project involved installing protective steel barriers around 33KV electric poles. The barriers were engineered for high impact resistance and visibility, safeguarding critical electrical infrastructure and preventing potentially catastrophic accidents.

CABLE BRIDGE INSTALLATION FOR SOLAR PROJECT
Location: Biyagama

Scope:
Fabrication and erection of a structural cable bridge to support solar energy transmission.
Description:
To support the site’s renewable energy infrastructure, WDL Engineering installed a robust cable bridge. This structure spans key areas to route high-capacity solar cables safely overhead, protecting them from ground-level damage while maintaining aesthetic and structural integrity within the facility.
